Populus Rooms

The room has recently been refurbished with new, beautiful tile, bathroom fixtures, mattress, and comfortable pillows. Everything worked, including the help, who had everything clean, breakfast on time and good coffee. They were helpful answering questions of the how, where, when variety that they hear every day. It's most convenient for walking to sites and restraunts.

Centrally located within walking distance to public transport. The room felt a bit aged and the bathroom could do with some refurbishment, but for a few nights a good choice of stay. Breakfast was a coffee and pastry at a bar close by. Check-in / out easy and uncomplicated with friendly front of house staff.

Really good value hotel in a great location. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. Lots to do in the area, and a short walk to the main area of the city. Highly recommended.

Great location, staff were very helpful and friendly. Was very quiet and we were able to check in early which was really good. One of the staff moved his car so we could park right outside the hotel. It was good value for money.

Nice, comfortable room

The hotel is very clean, easy to find from the bus station, 15mns walking to everywhere. The staff and manager are very nice and helpful. Ask for a room on the top floor, they have a terrasse and lounge chairs.

The hotel is on a quiet street very close to Ortigia. Had no difficulties finding parking (be careful though - somebody tried to steal car mirrors). Lovely breakfast.

Simona is super kind and the room plus breakfast was a great deal! Easy to walk to Ortigia (10min), quiet street, great staff and nice breakfast offered for a great price.

Really good place for the price we paid. A nice hotel, easy to park on that street. Personal is really nice. It is not that far from la Isola de Ortiglia as it might seem.

Small but filling breakfast included in stay, good location, air-conditioning worked well.

The location is close to the center, a 10-minute walk. The modest room, in the pictures it looks much better, the room up on the terrace, without a balcony. Price quality ok.
